MicrosoftOh the joys of Outlook deathspiral 2024. This week we lost the ability to open documents in the programs designed for them. The email platform has now become a memory black hole wherein one has to download everything that comes in an email before being able to do anything with it. We also lost the ability to attach documents to emails by dragging and dropping, unless you are lucky enough to have screens large enough to drag the documents to the correct quadrant of the email page. This is so insulting there aren't words. Microsoft engineers must have looked way to hard at the Apple logo and instead of learning from the lessons of the past, decided let's not bother with pretty or function. Let's crash Outlook and all the supporting programs so noone will have a reason to use miscrosoft anything anymore.
