So, I am confused between the two Outlooks.  When and why does Microsoft suggest I use either:

a) The "new Outlook for Window".

b) The Outlook application I get with my Microsoft 365 Family subscription (formerly known as Office Outlook).

 

Which should I choose and why?

 

BTW my two regularly used eMails accounts are @Live.com and IMAP to a UNIX/Linux based private email (personal domain name).
