  • proed the best way to give feedback is in-app under the Help tab, we collect and read that feedback constantly to determine what to prioritize next.  You might find a useful setting under Compose and reply, you can set new emails to always open in pop outs.  You can also double click to open items to read in a pop out without changing any settings.

is there already a user voice page for the new outlook for windows?

i want to request the option to change the default behavior of opening mail elements to pop out in a new window - always - as good old outlook is doing it for the last 3 decades and im not willing to see any benefit to discard these behavior.
