Deleted; Good morning, and thank you for the link. There were a couple of other links provided after selecting yours, and one of the pages had a FAQ link with instructions from January 12, 2024. However, I was receiving community emails right up until yesterday, January 17th, in my Inbox. It was only this morning's email that went to my Junk folder, even after I posted on the 16th.
My Outlook issue has been going on since last summer when some emails started going to my Junk folder. I looked for a support number to call, saw there were three or for numbers listed, but none of them went to a live person. They were all the same recording, even though the numbers were different.
I found an on-line chat link, and I was connected to a rep in the Philippines. Unfortunately, he was just reading a checklist, and gave me several steps to change settings with, and even sent a link for me to select and follow those instructions. This was more then 2 hours in the chat, and it was not getting resolved. It was also past 11pm, so we signed off to try the next day. Well, the next day, EVERY email I had received overnight was in my Junk folder. EVERY SINGLE EMAIL.
I spent the morning trying to undo what the rep had me change, but never got it back to where I was prior to the chat. And to this day, I am still getting legitimate emails in my Junk folder. These are emails I have received for years from banks, credit cards, online services, etc. So, if there are over 100 emails in my Junk folder, I have to look through all of them to make sure which ones are legitimate, defeating the purpose of the Junk folder.
I have given up on expecting anyone from Microsoft to actually help with this. I've only been a customer since the early '90s, so it's not like I've been loyal, or anything like that. That would be crazy to expect one of the largest software companies in the world to back up their products.
