It has taken me since i last posted 2 weeks ago to get signed in and only way to do so was via a private browser sessions due to Microsoft inadequacies in clearing cache and login settings.
The recent announcement 23rd November that the Outlook (NEW) now supported IMAP email accounts is still a joke. No it doesn't. Errors every time. N/but interestingly on the folders at the side the accounts i tried to add and told hadn’t were there, but couldn’t access emails or send and receive. For a multi trillion pound organisation i just find it a farce.
The product is so flawed. The outlook desktop, outlook for IOS and Android allow IMAP and have for a few years, so why the massive difference? The previous outlook on the web did too and so did Mail.
We are going to see a hike in annual sub costs soon, but the product is worse.
No quality assurance, testing, penetration or API sign off.
Micorosft never answer the threads, if they do they copy and paste condescending comments about making the customer check their systems. They know it is them not us.
