I've been wondering all the time, why in the second screenshot here in the favorites on the left, the nice icons are visible?
I seem to remember that these icons were suddenly shown to me in my Outlook 2019 (in the view "E-Mail" and not under "Folder"!), but then suddenly they were not shown anymore.
Is there a hidden option somewhere where you can activate these icons?
Basically, I want to see these icons everywhere, because they visually contribute to a better overview (actually like in the "Folder" view), but I still want to be able to use the Favorites (which is not possible in the "Folder" view). I also don't want to see the folders "Contacts" etc., which is the case in the "Folder" view.
My conclusion:
I want to be able to activate/view icons in the "Email" view.
Your PC is showing these Icons, mine sadly not...

Grundsätzlich möchte ich überall diese Icons sehen, weil diese visuell zu einer besseren Übersicht beitragen (eigentlich so wie in der "Ordner"-Ansicht), aber ich möchte trotzdem die Favoriten nutzen können (was in der "Ordner"-Ansicht nicht geht). Des weiteren möchte ich nicht die Ordner "Kontakte" usw. sehen, was wiederum in der "Ordner"-Ansicht der Fall ist.
Meine Schlussfolgerung:
Ich möchte in der "E-Mail"-Ansicht Icons aktivieren/sehen können.
