OneDrive sync for native ARM devices now in public preview

I have to let you know that it doesn't appear that currently available builds of the OneDrive mac client are in fact not M1 native. Reddit users at r/MacOS have noted this exact same problem. I suspect that most current users are unaware of the signficant energy and CPU draw given the huge overhead available. However, the M1 native announcement is high profile, and Microsoft should correct this.

Both the downloaded versions from Microsoft's website as well as the App Store-provided app appear in Activity Monitor as "Intel," not Apple. The Cmd+I protocol to get info confirms that the application is an Intel app, not an Apple app. The device i used was purchased just this week - the machine has no old app or app framework in need of clearing - it has not had any builds prior to 22.045 installed.

I have included screencaps for reference to show you what I mean. Please fix this problem. I love OneDrive and want Microsoft to get out ahead of this.

I’m confused about native M1 support.  I know there is this preview version available, but I have the App Store version installed and in version 22.012.0117, I found there were two processes running: an Apple Silicon “OneDrive” process running under root and an Intel (Rosetta) “OneDrive File Provider” user process.   After upgrading to 22.022.0130, both processes are now Intel user processes.  What happened?

It's very annoying that one cannot download the Apple Silicon build WITHOUT installing the Intel version, and thus Rosetta just to pick the correct build afterwards. 

I'll just have to wait until it's official I guess

Does anyone know when KFM will be available?

I'm on 22.007.0109.0002 and I don't see any options to activate it.

My overall issue with this OneDrive Arm client is I cannot see sub folders.  Anyone else having this issue?

Wade Dorrell Bartender is a lovely mac app which allows you to deal with menu bar items.

Unfortunately I can't use the OneDrive for macOS anymore. That's spending 1,7GB of RAM and my Macbook has just 8GB of RAM.

Could delete some files reduze the usage memory?  

Yes. Here in this country we are not using point, but comma for decimal delimiters.
