This is nice to have a place to vent a little bit, and it seems like the people here are mostly in the same boat as our organization. We are an extremely small nonprofit community organization, and we couldn't even afford paying zoom for over half hour meetings while we were trying to raise funding to save our Historic School. Getting the Microsoft Grant of just 9 licenses was 4 more than we really needed or used, but Office 365 was our tool to write grants, and file reports. Now everything we have in our records is in Microsoft, and they yanked the rug out from under us. Being the one who filed for the grant, I automatically became a "Global Administrator". Heck I barely know how to use office. In fact, the last office product I had purchased was for Windows 7,,back when the disk came with the computer. In fact, that is more than we need today! But I now know how **bleep** difficult it will be to get everything rolled into some other program, because on a $5,000 +/- annual budget, we'll barely have funds for lights all year, let alone spending $200.00 to just USE cloud office products. Bait and catch, and well all seem to have been caught by what I'm reading. And I think I am the 9th to post in this blog, and surprise, not even one reply from anyone. So it is venting into a giant galaxy where no one will read or care. Thanks for the Grant Microsoft. But you just broke our organizations back. Now to wipe all the garbage off my computer that they made us try to navigate.
