Update: "Multi-window for chats and more - Partially implemented" has now been deployed, and it's a perfect illustration of why the UserVoice forum is not a good way to effectively deal with customer feedback.
Notice that "and more"? Microsoft didn't. They implemented a pop-out chat window ("and no more"), which cannot be zoomed, doesn't respond to the system scaling settings, and is nowhere near compact enough, closed the ticket as "complete", and turned off comments. So there's no post-implementation feedback possible, the feature disappears from the front page, and effectively all 20,000+ votes for the "and more" part are dumped in the bin. Instead, several small and easily-ignored feedback threads are starting up again.
I am increasingly of the opinion that UserVoice is a place to corral disgruntled users out of sight of potential customers, rather than an actual effective feedback mechanism, which is why I'm here, in a more visible forum, pointing this out.
