And yet all we want is a usable os x client. The obvious absentee of every update, OS X. Clearly Microsoft knows the market hold of teams in the value add of office licensing. Also clearly Microsoft is disinterested in having a usable product on Mac. I can only assume somehow this product is deemed pivotal in windows user retention, because no huge company could ignore this market segment or the overwhelming issues with their product in any way other than deliberately.
I / my company can’t consider anything else you do while we can’t open teams on a Mac that’s two years old in under 3 minutes, full screen wndow sharing doesn’t work remotely, and on and on. The Mac Teams offering has to be the worst product currently offered by Microsoft, and the most stagnant in release.
I am genuinely stuck. Trying to get to sharepoint, dynamics, outlook and combine services off zoom, slack, Dropbox, google workspace (and leaning into umbraco for dynamics web integration), but teams is meant to be a pivotal part of that and it’s actually unusable on most of our macs, and terrible on the rest.
So many plans aren’t happening because this product is so bad.
