First, thank you So much for your patience in my reply. I am not sure if you heard, but Ignite planning is in full swing and has been my focus as of late.
Any who, your confusion is understandable. There was a previous Microsoft Kaizala “Poll” app, which has been removed from Teams. After this original “Poll” app was retired, users were moved to “Forms”. We are now encouraging users to move from “Forms” to “Polls”. At some point in the future, the “Forms” app will be retired but this date has not been set. Currently however, in Teams meetings, users may access the Polling experience with either the “Polls” (for new & migrated users) or “Forms” app (for existing users).
I know, its a bit of a few work arounds here, but know that we are aware of this challenge! We apologize for any inconvenience on your end and thank you for your continued support and usage of our products. Sharing your feedback is extremely appreciated and appreciated as we share it back with our Engineering team and this helps as we prioritize our future planning cycles!
