Here is what I found out from the product team directly on your LinkedIn integration ask re: data.
We are currently in the process of rolling out support for public LinkedIn data to be made available to enhance the Office 365 experience of individuals within your organization without requiring sign-in and additional LinkedIn consent. If LinkedIn is enabled in your organization, those allowed individuals can see this today on the people card in Teams and Outlook for the Web. Outlook for Windows Desktop is currently in the process of rolling out those improvements over the coming months.
The additional sign-in and consent process is still made available for an even better experience, but should they wish to use it, there is no additional policy available for this process to block the enhancement of their LinkedIn.com experience by providing access to their Office 365 data if they wish.
