What’s New in Microsoft Teams | January 2023

Holly Lehman  big thanks for giving possibility to use the search so that search results goes to the moment of the search and not only showing individual chat message! This has been very much waited feature.

I believe you get similar hurray! if you could fix the issue were users are unable to copy longer chat history (2-3 pages is enough). It is very unstable copying operation.

Also we are still wishing to see that when being in a meeting and opening the picture from the chat (when someone post it), the [Close] button is still on the same place where Exit from the meeting is:

It is possible that you press twice this button, and first it close the image view, and the you are out from the meeting.

It would also be nice that you take a look all of the UI in Teams and MTRs and see if the way how you show the names could be improved. As you can see, the length of the name in different places is very much limited:

And from the end user support point of view, could you please add more available logging for us. Today when some of these happend:

- chat gets not delivered

- unable to see profile pictures from others

- presence statuses are not up to date

We have no possibilities to troubleshooting these, neither there are any logs available for these issues.

Also, looks like you have stop to update this page: What's new in Microsoft Teams  , so do you perhaps have some other page from where we could see some changes instead? Currently it contains 11/2022 for desktop and 07/2022 for iOS updates. In my mind they are a bit outdated. ,.o
