Thanks for the update and confirming the extension of Live events.
Our University are big users of Teams live events, unfortunately one piece that the Town hall feature is missing is the ability to 'private reply' to a new questions when using the Q&A feature. This is a feature that we always use in live events.
My question is, will Microsoft be restoring the ability to 'private reply' to questions. We feel It was very thoughtless towards the end user to just remove this facility without assessing its value or at least clearly bread-crumbing to a user-friendly private-reply replacement when pushing Town hall. Obviously we are happy to hear that live events are now being pushed out and not retired so soon.
Would Microsoft hope to have this feature in Town Hall by the time live events is retired? Being able to answer privately is essential to the purpose of our events, and user-friendly set-up is a high priority.
