This seems like the ideal opportunity to show off all the work you've been doing on Compact Mode. You announced on UserVoice that you were "working on it" way back in February 2017, and on September 22 2017, Gino the Product Manager posted that the Teams team had been "hard at work to bring you a more compact chat design. ... We spent months testing designs with users, reiterating concepts, and reading through your feedback, to make sure we could meet as many of your common needs as we could." It's been a year since then, and we have seen no change. Time to at least show us those ideas and concepts you've been working hard on, and give us an ETA for when we can start making use of them.
