Teams Town hall and Webinar transform connection at scale

I was trying the new CVI feature, and weirdly, when a cisco codec joins, its joins as attendee as described, however it is not muted, and everyone can hear the rooms microphone, even though it is attendee. I have to hit ‘mute all’ everytime a codec joins. The option to ‘allow mic for attendee’s’ is disabled, and anyone joining on a computer comes in as muted, as expected

also in regards to meeting id, i have noticed that only invited MTR rooms are able to join when meeting id is used. Directguestjoin on a cisco codec also does not work. Is there a setting somewhere in our tennant that allows anyone who dials the meeting ID is able to join?
