Sharing in case you want to add your or vote. I know this alternative doesn't solve your problem from the root, but most support centers that use either phone, chat, or bots for support provide a default message stating that the conversation is being recorded for X purposes.

For retention policies, as explained in our documentation: by default, Teams chat, channel, and files data are retained forever. As an admin, you can set up Teams retention policies for chat and channel messages and decide proactively whether to retain the data, delete it, or retain it for a specific period of time and then delete it.
