Get your frontline workers started on Microsoft Teams. In as little as two minutes, deploy a pilot for your frontline workers! Our new pilot deployment experience, available in public preview, is your playground to test all the capabilities Teams has to offer, validate which features are most valuable to your frontline workers, and set yourself up for a successful org-wide rollout.
Deploying a pilot is as simple as selecting your desired Teams capabilities, adding members and owners, and clicking Deploy! In the past, pilot deployment required navigation between multiple surfaces on the Teams admin center and PowerShell to get started. Our new pilot experience removes that friction entirely, empowering you to start small, prove value fast, and expand with confidence all in one place!
This experience can be found on our brand-new Frontline hub in the Teams admin center that suggests actions that are most relevant to whichever stage you’re at in your frontline deployment journey. Check out the video below to see the experience in action:

How it works
- Visit the Frontline hub:

- Go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/frontline/hub and click Start a pilot. (You must be a Teams admin to access this experience.)
- Deploy a pilot:

- Select capabilities to pin for your frontline workers.
- Add frontline workers to your pilot.
- Give your pilot a name and owner.
- Click deploy and share the link to download Teams to your pilot users!
- Manage your pilot:

- Go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/frontline/manage/pilots and click on your pilot once deployment is complete.
- Manage membership, channels, pinned apps, and Home & Viva Engage configurations all in one place.
- Monitor usage:

- Go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/frontline/usage to track adoption of the apps that you enabled for your frontline workers.

Once you have completed your pilot and are ready to expand to the rest of your frontline workers, navigate to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/frontline/manage/teams and click Deploy to deploy teams in bulk with flexible membership.
