Since the launch of the Wakelet app for Microsoft Teams last summer, we’ve heard many great stories of how people have been using the app to help craft experiences. Wakelet allows people to easily save, organize and share content from across the web—and educators, especially in these challenging times, have used the integration as powerful tool for their remote learning toolkit.

Building off this momentum, we are excited to announce a new capability in the Wakelet app in Teams, where you can now bookmark links from your Teams channel by saving them directly into your Wakelet Collections!

Whether you are an educator gathering resources for your students or a marketing team sharing research content, it’s now easier to save and share content from your conversations in Teams. With just a few clicks, bookmark sources from within your channel so they are accessible in your Wakelet profile.

Stay engaged in discussions, while simultaneously ensuring no important links get lost.

Need help with bookmarking links? Follow these simple steps:

1. See a link you want to bookmark?

When you want to bookmark a link in your Teams channel, click on the three dots ‘...’ on the top right of the message bar and a dropdown will appear. Click on More actions, which will start a new drop down – and then click Save to Wakelet.

2. Login to Wakelet

A pop-up inviting you to login to your Wakelet profile or sign-up to Wakelet will appear. Once you’ve logged-in, you’ll see a list of links previously sent to your Teams Channel. You can select one, multiple or all the links and save them directly into your Wakelet profile.

3. Save links to your collections

You’ll then be able to access your Wakelet Collections and Group Collections. Select the collection you wish to save the link or links into. You can also create a brand-new collection and save the links into it. Give the link a title and add it straight into your collection.

We are excited to see all the different ways people can use Wakelet and Teams to collaborate and build collections together!

    But wait, there's more!
There is something called privacy, the part you like to scroll past because you just want to make it as easy as possible.
Take a minute to read what kind of information this application can get about you and your team.
