New apps in Microsoft Teams - March update

Hi there! We are very excited to start using the VSTS message extension. However when we try to use it by typing @vsts - we get the option to search and then as soon as we start typing in the search box we see: "loading from VSTS" followed by "Something went wrong with this app." and a link below that with the option to try again. Upon clicking that link we get the same error. We receive this error when trying from multiple accounts and from the web client and the desktop app. Also we've tried reinstalled the app but still get the same error. We've tried connectors and messaging and we get the same error. We are able to install the VSTS tab and that shows the board as expected.

When I try messaging from the web client using devtools I'm able to see the following errors:
