The impact of COVID-19 has dramatically changed how we work today, with a monumental number of organizations working from home. While physical meeting rooms may not be a focal point for many right no...
Ilya BukshteynSohail_Tariq ahhh that's really helpful. So theoretically all drivers related to successful performance of MTR's should be managed by Microsoft as well... I guess there is some mismatch on what I am hearing from Logitech and Microsoft.
For context we have deployed Logitech Taps which rely on https://www.displaylink.com/ technology to power the center of the room console. Out of the box after all the Windows Updates are complete the latest iteration of display link driver is from July 2019. However, since then there have been 6 new releases to the display link driver. The latest of which came out on 8/4. Each one of these releases notes stability and performance improvements.
When we encounter an issues, most common of which is when the center of the room console shows up blank. In that case the control screen now shows up on either main display and there is a warning that states that the display is disconnected.
Working with Logitech their immediate recommendation is to make sure the display link driver is up to date. In that case we then manually go an update the driver on all 250 machines. When I ask Logitech about this they state that the window update on that driver lag about a year behind, so essentially we are missing performance and stability updates about a year
I get the same when it comes to Intel drivers. The actual Logitech guide (screenshot below) says to update both Intel and display link drivers manually. So is this something I need to push with Microsoft or Logitech?
