Ilya Bukshteyn you mentioned in your response to Henning_Beck that "So basically either the MTRs should be "unmanaged" and you leave the update policies to us, or else they should be actively managed by your admins."
We went from 0 MTR's to over 250 in less than 8 months. All are Logitech Tap rooms, we use Logitech sync to mange and update firmware on peripherals, and Teams Admin center solves the MTR app management piece. Windows update does a good job of managing the windows security patches and etc... However when it comes to the driver and firmware management that is where we seem to struggle. As an example Logitech Taps require Display Link drivers to run the center of the room console and when we have an issue, the solution is to make sure we have the latest Display Link driver. That means we manually have to load the latest driver on each of our 250 devices and update the driver. So although you say the devices can be left in unmanaged mode, it seems like I am still force to set up in a managed mode where we manage drivers the these devices
How does the display link driver get managed in the un-managed mode? What about Intel firmware/ software updates on the NUC? How do those get managed in the un-managed mode?
Appreciate all the time you take to answer all our questions. Thanks!
