Is it possible to increase the # of characters you can see when searching for someone for an adhoc meeting or adding someone to a call? (IE change something in the xml)
I have a customer who has adopted a very long meeting room name strategy and they are still using Skype for Business not Teams. They have asked if there is a way to increase the # of characters the Skype Room System app will show when searching to start an adhoc meeting or when adding another user into an existing meeting. I did some research in my lab on various MTR systems and noticed the following:
Most newer MTR have the following character limitation when searching using SfB:
Adhoc 21 characters (then you will see ...)
In Meeting Add 18 characters
I did also check Teams and i think someone may have noticed this as an issue in SfB because in Teams the character limit is 28 for either adhoc or in meeting adds of people.
So when they move to Teams they will be fine but SfB they would like to increase it.
Any thoughts?
