jschina , My recommendation will be to join MTR TAP and try it out. There is a client side setting to enable modern authentication and this enables IT admins to safe guard against environment setup failures. 

However, to prepare your environment, there is documentation already available from Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Exchnage and Skype for Business Teams as this has been around for some time. Here are some links you can refer to:

For MTR, you should keep MFA disabled as we use Resource password grant type over OAuth.
