Carl_Karawani - nope - not at all.
I actually have not been aware that (personal) contacts created in Teams would not be synced up with Outlook until I tried a few days before this post and was wondering what was going on. I thought this would all have been synced with the Contacts folder in the Mailbox, but i was proven wrong. Finally this also will be pulled straight, which is good news.
But, what i am searching for is NOT the personal contacts, rather than the company contacts.
If you e. g. search in Exchange Online PS via a 'get-mailcontact' or in AzureAD PS via a 'get-AzureADcontact', you will not get that contact that you are searching for in the Teams client, unless you add it to your personal contacts - which is not what we want and need. We want/need AzureAD Contacts/Mail Contacts that are globally available in the GAL (and NOT personally available) to appear in the Teams client when searching for them.
