Carl_Karawani thanks for publishing that script, but absolutely not what I am actually searching for/am 'complaining about'.  This script would read "the lineuri from Teams" and put it in the phone number field in on-prem AD for user objects.

 

I am talking about the overall inability of the Teams clients to search for AD/AAD contact objects (get-mailcontact in Exchange onprem+online and/or get-azureadcontact in AAD)
