MicrosoftI have first read about SlimCore optimization maybe 3 months ago in another blog post. Asked our Microsoft TAM and he had no clue what i was talking about. Even gave him the link to the article. I guess it was actually real and coming to AWS. But i wonder. When i would start Teams inside AWS workspace it would say Optimizing desktop experience or something along these lines. So, there was already some VDI optimization happening it seems. But maybe SlimCore will make it even more optimized. So, it is just latest Teams and latest AWS client what is needed? It says also to apply Teams policy. Is it just for the preview? When GA will it be just enabled automatically? Now, as 99% of our VDI users are external contractors, it is tough to make them stay up to date on their clients..
