As a result, users can now expect a smooth and improved collaborative experience across tenants and accounts with chat, calling, and meeting start notifications from all connected tenants or accounts, concurrently, regardless of which tenant or account they are currently active in.
I cannot express the depth of my disappointment with Microsoft. The most requested feature on all feedback sites was simultaneous support for multiple accounts. It's beyond me why you don't understand this use case. What we need is to be able to see multiple teams at the same time, to get an idea of what channels are active or who might need something, not who actively highlights us.
What you've released means once again having to frequently switch between accounts just to see if there's something you need to respond to. Teams has ruined much of my consulting business because I can't follow multiple clients' chats at a glance. You know, like email.
Your solution are notifications. Are you serious? Do you realize the insane amount of notifications people with multiple accounts must now receive? Unless you missed the health trend of the last few years: People are turning off notifications because it ruins them. It's disruptive and it's extremely stressful.
What a disappointment, now wrapped in WebView2.
