Check-in and room release arrived for my Yealink Room Panels today in the form of a firmware update. I've tested it - its basic but it works. You do need to manually configure the relevant meeting settings on the panel or via a configuration policy. Also got new wallpapers, they still don't match what is available on MTRoW! A new https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/devices/check-in-and-room-release has been issued.
If you have meeting attendant settings configured on your room account (I expect you will) then when a reservation is allowed to auto-release (by not checking in) the meeting organiser does receive a 'decline' email stating: Since no one checked in, the room has declined the meeting invitation and is no longer reserved.
One observation is that any LOB apps pinned to a panel now seem to be using the 'color' app icon rather than the 'outline' app icon as defined in the app manifest. This is annoying. I now need to update my apps as the 'color' icon doesn't look good on my panels and appears as a box within the circles. You might find the same if you have LOB apps pinned.
