Well... a few more deep dives with the testing team and we discover that Q&A may be anonymous, but reactions are not. So when somebody makes an anonymous, challenging or even derogatory comment (perhaps even valid) about something a CEO or Executive Team member may be presenting and the next person likes that - that person is exposed. Same goes for negative reactions to comments. We informed the KAM that this can be a showstopper for us. I'm fairly confident that certain unions in Europe may have a decidedly strong opinion about this behavior. And honestly, who needs Viva Engage for a Town Hall Q&A? All you need is moderated questions and up-voting (like in TLE). If one wants a "chatty", knowledge sharing experience, then have a normal Teams Meeting.
BTW - there is a notice for the Organizer when enabling anonymous Q&A, that reactions are not anonymous. Who's that message for? Are the participants notified at any time that they are exposed?
Curiously, a few days after we realized this, we saw this article on Tech Radar: https://protect2.fireeye.com/v1/url?k=31323334-501cfaf3-313273af-454445554331-3fca5724eca0e204&q=1&e=ac8b97ba-bfae-465a-9336-390a98b1920a&u=https%3A%2F%2Fflip.it%2FNvnd-7 Not quite the same use case but grounded on the same feature flaw.
P.s. BryanNyce keep slugging. When I see something good I promise to share. And how is the reworking of the Attendee Report going? You really need to split that up into separate tabs/tables and format the fields correctly. Please deal with that and Q&A export before you spend a bunch of time on fancy transitions and studio effects.
