Hello Everyone,
Our first town hall meeting was a great success, with an audience of 5000.
We received some extremely positive feedback from both the audience and the co-organizers, along with a few suggestions for improvement. Here's what we gathered from the feedback:
What the audience loved:
- The meeting was easily accessible from any device.
- Q&A was transparent, and there was no need for moderation.
- Live captions were available in six languages (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, and Japanese). However, some attendees requested captions in Arabic and Russian.
What the organizer wants:
- The ability to sort Q&A by the most popular responses from the audience during the town hall meeting.
- An Excel format download of all Q&A after the meeting ends.
- The town hall meeting attendee report should capture the location of the audience, similar to Zoom.
- A live language interpretation option that allows external interpreters to interpret the meeting in multiple languages.
- The option to add external attendees to the town hall meetings is similar to the regular Teams meeting feature.
What didn't work:
- The attendance report was not accurate. Although we had observed 5000 people joining the call during the meeting, the report only showed that 1700 people had joined as attendees.
