Introducing Town Halls in Microsoft Teams and Retiring Microsoft Teams Live Events

Sylvester- organizer/presenter support is not available on the web yet, we're working on it.

Carl_Knecht Yes, anonymous posting for Q&A is disabled by default, and can be enabled by organizers/co-organizers.

Matthew_Eddy Lionel_Chenet RTMP-In Town halls will leverage only 708 captions that you provide with the RTMP feed. We're working on AI captions support with RTMP, likely early next CY.

 

Petri-X There is an initial table here -> Switch from Microsoft Teams live events to town halls - Microsoft Support. As for the End Meeting, yes, this is located in the same place it would be for regular meetings. We're working to change the default for organizers/co-organizers from End Meeting to Leave, with End Meeting being in the dropdown (same as it would be for a meetings experience). This is based on feedback from early usage of Town hall, where it was perhaps a little too easy to inadvertently end the event.
