jtexidor   The whole "/" quick command is neutered.  I have tried to use it for BRB and a few others and it doesn't work.  In the bar if you put / and press Enter as directed by the app to see all available commands it does nothing except tell you it Couldn't find any results.  Sept 28 2023 Progress, some of the "/" work again.


I surely hope MS reconsiders rolling this out to all M365 users in Sept. It is just not ready. Feature parity is about 70 % in MHO.

Here is my running list of issues; [UPDATED Sept 21, 2023] Some of what I thought were Broken are actually Feature Changes and intentional. Refer to the MS Doc  and the Known Issues

  1. “/” shortcut for Commands does not work the same. Some features work some don't.

  2. How to manage "Saved" Chats /Posts ? /Saved lists them but cannot Un-Save
  3. "Open in SharePoint" not available in the General Posts, have to go to Files Tab and then use More dots
  4. No Option to set Preferred Pronouns  now available via drill into Profile
  5. No Option to set Location (Work or Remote)
  6. Cannot manage Tabs  some of the Tabs in Chats and Channels now have their Settings choice available again. Managing (moving, pinning, adding) App Tabs in left nav still require old Teams or Teams Web.
  7. Clicking on Join in Outlook notification opens page and if you click Join, nothing happens . It does not Join the Meeting it just goes to Teams Desktop main window. Joining Teams Meeting from pop up notice of Outlook does not work.  Must use the Calendar of Teams Desktop to Join
  8. Order of Posts in Chat versus Channels.  One is New on Bottom the other is New on Top? While not broken this is a strange decision and confusing when going from 1:1 Chats and back in to Teams Channels Posts.
  9. While in the Tasks app if you right-click on the Important Category and choose Refresh , the Teams Desktop app crashes.
  10. Edit Chat in popped out window lands in old post. Not last message, difficult to scroll to end and edit last pos
  11. Double up arrow to edit last post doesn't open at bottom of window.
  12. Chats in External Meetings do not come to focus but Toast Notification remains.  Unable to get to the Chat prior to the Meeting Starting without switching to other Tenant
  13. Organization tab in chat is missing (only way to access org chart in Teams is via someone's profile) Even the Org button in the Who app doesn't work
  14. Notify when available alert is not available, you must hover in someone's Profile Card
  15. Contacts-view option is missing from the Chat-tab:
