Lmntryx - thanks for the github link: looks like I'm already a couple versions behind. We're split-tunneled to all MS services, so updates shouldn't be getting in the way. Might need to do a trace on the update attempt and see where it's getting blocked - but given it was working a month or two ago, it'd have to be a recent FW change. All other MS Apps update just fine (Edge, Office). Even with the latest Teams build: still getting that "Issue occurred while checking for updates"-message.
Couple other features that are missing that I'd love to see in the new build:
- The old 'contacts' in the chat-pane. This offered a quick way to check availability of colleagues or clients you don't talk to regularly (short of searching for them or taking up valuable pin-space).
- Able to set work location (in office/remote)
It's sometimes annoying with the notifications, but for those missing certain features: you can run the old and new versions side-by-side...
