Unfortunately, to me it is obvious all critical feedback aside nothing is going to change. It doesn't seem at all that Microsoft is willing or going to listen. Standard answers are given, if any answers are given at all. You'd think that all feedback is monitored on a short time basis, but last reaction from was more than 3 weeks ago. They just hope the critical feedback wears out by not answering it and then'll say: "Well, people were critical at first, but after a period of time everybody got used to it". People just stop complaining because a wall is hit.
Like, how is this change even thought about? Was there even any market research? There are countless Microsoft Feedback portal ideas that are just lying there to be dusted off, while there are features like this being rolled out that nobody cares about or at least don't understand why it's done (this way or at all). That said, I somehow get the idea of combining chats and posts, but also showing the rest of the Teams in there and have no other obvious entrance for your Teams is just odd to say the least.
Also, I saw this so called "on boarding", but it is not obvious at all what you are setting up. The image doesn't really show what changes. Yeah, it shows an addition between the Chats and Teams icon, but that's it. And the few lines of text are no good either. When you click "Get started" you'd think you are lead somewhere that shows you how to set this up (or don't) or at least guides you through it. But no, once clicked it's all set up. People tend to don't read dialogs with updates, as those things pop up every now and then. Once approved, it's not easy to go back. Hidden somewhere in the settings is not easy.
Wish I could be more positive, but can't see it atm. Hope all feedback is taken at heart and this change will vastly be modified or be turned off by default once released to the public.
