Like Christian Schacht said, the SRS systems software from the OS (Win10) to the application is completely written and controlled by Microsoft which means the moment there is a tested update it is released straight to the end users.
This is great as the OS and TRS application is designed specifically for those devices that are certified so the chances of failure is very minimal to non-existent.
As for other devices such as the Group 500 series, as Christian said these are not certified Microsoft Teams Room systems and require an https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/cloud-video-interop which is Teams certified for the devices to connect into Teams. These are currently offered by Polycom, Pexip and BlueJeans.
There is an additional subscription cost for these CVI's to calculate into you TCO of these devices and is a good migration point if you are looking into going into full Microsoft Teams.
