Harald_Steindl , the reason why I'm interest of that is told on the first part on my message
It is quite natural, that corporate proxies requires authentication so that internet traffic policies/exceptions could be applied to the end users. Unfortunately the MTR does not support a proxy authentication, so we need to try to identify the MTR traffic in other ways on the proxies. And we have seen that the MTRs are using user-agent string where one section is "ThirdParty". As that is not used by any other internet based clients, it could be one way to identify MTR's traffic. If we are able to identify its traffic, we could have much better control to its traffic (including the exceptions).
The version numbers are not so important in this case. In overall they are important to make sure that the end users are not using super old and unsafe clients on wild internet. But in this case, I would like to know if the ThirdParty is something which is done by purpose, as then we could perhaps trust that it will stay as well.
