MicrosoftIlya Bukshteyn i am hoping you can help us with a query regarding MTR auto update issues. We are following the support document from Microsoft to update the MTR's via Powershell. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/rooms-operations)
However when we run the script with the correct accessible fileshare we receive errors.
Sctipt - Add-AppxPackage -Update -ForceApplicationShutdown -Path '\\<share>\$oem$\$1\Rigel\x64\Ship\AppPackages\*\*.appx' -DependencyPath (Get-ChildItem '\\<share>\$oem$\$1\Rigel\x64\Ship\AppPackages\*\Dependencies\x64\*.appx' | Foreach-Object {$_.FullName})
It appears to be an issue with the DependancyPath.
If we alter the script to point to a folder in the DependancyPath we receive a slightly more detailed error stating that the file path cannot be found. However checking the file path we know that these files/folders exist.
We have then tried this locally and have not had any issues with the script. It seems that when you introduce a fileshare the problem occurs.
We have a Microsoft ticket open but have had no luck so were hoping you and your team could advise. There are over 400MTR's we need to update 🙂
