Hello MTR Teams,
I have just read this article :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/safe-links?view=o365-worldwide#safe-links-settings-for-microsoft-teams about Safe Links for Teams meeting.
And of course a customer (who is TAP) who received an external invitation for a teams meeting, forwarded it to its MTR. The MTR is unable to read it and the Join button is missing for this meeting.
Workaround : remove manually the safelink header added in the invitation by exchange. OK fine it works but not given to anybody to do this change!
We could as well create an ATP policy to not rewrite the URL as https://teams.microsoft.com*
Main question : as it is preview in TAP I guess it is going to turn GA some time.. Is it in the roadmap that MTR can correctly interprete this safe link teams invitation to keep the security on ? Or the ATP policy becomes mandatory ?
Thanks,
Cecile
