We have a number of customers with Room systems (mostly Crestron) currently running Skype for Business who will be transitioning to Teams.
Some of these systems have two cameras attached (e.g. Front & Rear, Lectern & Table, i.e. not a content camera). S4B allows the user to switch cameras via the UI but Teams does not. Is this functionality on the roadmap for Teams? Any ETA? If it is can PTZ control target the selected camera please as, last I checked, this doesn't function correctly in S4B.
Secondly, S4B implements HID Conference Controls that allow integration with other room equipment (e.g. Audio DSPs) allowing call state status and control (Offhook/Ringing/Accept/End/Hold) and Microphone Mute which allow us to automate external hardware. Teams seems to support Microphone mute control by this method, but not Call State/Control. Is this on the Teams roadmap?
Cheers,
Greg
