As an Information Systems Engineer I just upgraded a Windows 10 21H1 to Windows 11 and Teams is unusable. Completely agree this is a miss or rather a mess. Microsoft did not learn from OneNote, that having separate applications doing the same thing essentially, but one has less features or directed at a certain audience, is a recipe for disaster. I just took a Windows 10 21H1 that had the Teams app functioning and after the Feature upgrade to Windows 11 only the Teams Home version is on the system, attempts to install the Teams "Work or School" is causing an error. Currently I am taking actions to uninstall the Home version and trying to install (re-install) Teams (work or school)
Is it really that hard to point Work or School accounts to the corporate SharePoint environment upon sign in and pointing NON Work or School accounts to Microsoft's own servers the @drives where it goes.
