Are there any plans to support a external address books within Teams Phone?
We are trying to satisfy the following use case:
We have “Contacts” with phone numbers that we wish to make available through the searchable directory in Teams. These phone numbers are not associated with any user/employee and do not have an email address.
An example is a US Store has a published number. The store's phone number is not on Teams yet. A US colleague wishes to dial the store from within Teams by searching the directory.
Is there anyway we can support this?
