Did I fail at the first step? 

 

Cloning into 'microsoft-teams-sample-get-started'...
remote: Repository not found.
fatal: repository 'https://github.com/OfficeDev/microsoft-teams-sample-get-started/' not found

 

Or is that the wrong URL as it 404's if you click on it...

 

Only example I can see for Teams and Get Started on Git, has been renamed to 

microsoft-teams-sample-get-started-old

Basic example tab app for Microsoft Teams

 

Any ideas?
