Hi. I'm a new 365 customer. As a long time Mac/Apple user, I came to 365 with a terrible image of Microsoft. It turns out that 365 is actually surprisingly good. Only exception is Teams. For instance, guests have been unable to activate their account in my tenant. Some meeting options are either broken, or impossible to understand. Support has been virtually incapable to help me, despite multiple tickets. But the worst is by far Premium.
I run webinars and will soon launch virtual appointments. Both are unmitigated disasters. I had a guest co-presenter, they were never able to reach the green room and stayed stuck in the lobby. Controlling what the attendees see never worked (each of them saw wildly different things). PowerPoint Live failed to embed my face when I tried Standout mode. At some point, my video also completely broke for my attendees and I failed to make it work again.
Since I tried Premium, virtual appointments are also completely broken in Teams. The screen stays stuck on a loading spinner. It's literally unusable. Using Bookings and Teams to manage my upcoming virtual appointments is currently out of question.
Last but not least, despite having properly assigned the Premium trial license to myself, I repeatedly see messages telling me "this feature is only available with a Premium license". But I have a Premium license! (I see this message at least in Bookings [on the web, as Bookings is also completely broken in Teams] and in what's left of Virtual appointments.)
I can understand that when Premium launched as a preview, some things could be broken or only partially working. But it's now available generally, and we're four months after the preview. It should work. But for me, it doesn't. And Microsoft's support inability to help me in any meaningful way is really not a good look.
Premium has a lot of potential, especially combined with the upcoming new Teams app. But so far, this potential is only theoretical.
