You 'pushed' the update out automatically. My users who were unable to use version 2 got 'updated' to Teams Classic. It knocked all the icons off of their Dock and reset their prefs. None of them are Admins on their Macs but your forced pushed update didn't require Admin priviledges. It basically broke our communication. Stop pushing this stuff out and let us choose when and how to update the applications we pay for. Doing this shows you do not care or understand that people are trying to run business's here. We had 18 people who were affected by this and it took me an hour to sort it out, which is 18 work hours. Because we use Teams to screenshare for issues, the home users were tricky to sort out. Microsoft, you are idiots. The people who could run version 2 have their security prefs reset so I can't control their screen when they want to allow this. I need to authenticate as admin for that part which means I need to drive to all of their houses or they need to bring the computer into the office.
Why are you 'choosing' to do this for us? Why do you think you know better? Why do updates not need admin authorisation?
