Anupam_Pattnaik ...well... i am constantly watching the news and changes of v2 and appreciate all the things that have been done so far to have the feature parity between v1 and v2. yes, still a few things missing, but ok, as long as we can switch back and forth, np (at least for me...).
But NOTHING (no workaround, no good will, nothing) makes up for the non-feature parity between Lync/Skype for Business and Teams (v1 AND v2). I have opened 2 Tickets ("sorry, we (MS) want to sell you the great feature that "Exchange contacts" are available" - what a joke - its contacts in user's mailboxes, not Exchange contacts (contacts in AD/AAD)), i have filed a feature request with absolutely NO response, i have given feedback over and over in all portals i have found. I am lost.
As long as this search feature is not available, there NEVER EVER can and will be feature parity between Lync/SfB and Teams. And I will continue to complain about this.
Only exception - if you take away contact objects from AD/AAD... But that would be a different story.
Microsoft
