Regarding the multiple Duo prompts in New Teams after a password change, here is some additional information:
After a user enters his/her new password into Teams, Duo prompts for a confirmation, which is expected.
After Duo confirmation, the following dialogue box appears:
Again, this dialogue box is expected as well.
Clicking "OK" results in 2 more Duo pushes to confirm password change.
The TWO Duo MFA prompts, then, only occurs after a user clicks "OK" on the "Stay Signed In..." dialogue box. If a user clicks "No, sign into this app only," a user only receives ONE additional Duo prompt.
I have not found any difference in what order I update the password. For example, Teams always prompts for 3 Duo pushes no matter if I update the password in, for example, Outlook first, Edge second and Teams third, or Teams first, Outlook second and Edge third.
Outlook (2021 LTSC) and Edge only prompt for Duo once, which is expected.
This behavior is only in Citrix (latest version of Citrix and FSLogix). On a Windows 11/10 PC, a user is only prompted for a Duo push once in New Teams after changing their password.
