Ilya Bukshteyn, CVP Teams Calling, Devices and Premium Experiences

As the Corporate VP for Microsoft Teams Calling, Devices and Premium Experiences, Ilya Bukshteyn leads a team responsible for the strategy, product delivery, and business results of Teams Phone, a fully featured, enterprise grade cloud PBX / calling system, Teams Devices, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Events, Townhall and webinars, Mesh, and Teams Premium. Ilya has been at Microsoft for over 30 years, and in previous roles in the UC space led the creation and incubation of the product line which is known as Microsoft Teams Rooms today.

 

 

 

Scott Plette, Group Product Manager Teams Phone and Premium Experiences

As a Partner Group Product Manager for Teams Phone and Teams Premium, Scott Plette manages the team charged with defining, prioritizing, and driving the development of Teams Phone experiences for desktop, mobile, and devices, as well as advanced communication and protected communication scenarios enabled by Teams Premium. Scott is a 28 year Microsoft veteran and in previous roles has worked on streaming media, Xbox gaming, media DRM, unified communications, and product support. 

 

 

Mahendra Sekaran, CVP Microsoft 365 – Intelligent Communications

Mahendra Sekaran is a part of the M365 product group, responsible for envisioning capabilities, shaping the strategy and driving growth for Teams, Dynamics365, etc.  His organization plays a pivotal role in delivering intelligent, secure, and robust communications and collaboration experiences, and manages our global Telco relationships and scales our business in partnership with them. Mahendra has ~30 years of experience in the communications domain, spanning cellular technologies and enterprise unified communications, across a variety of product, engineering and leadership roles. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2005, he worked at Nortel as a Dev manager on Location based services and intelligent networks for cellular technologies. He is passionate about modernizing communications and collaboration experiences, and on the personal front, he likes to travel, cook and golf in his spare time.

 

 

Pete Daderko, Senior Product Marketing Director

Pete Daderko is a Senior Director of Product Marketing at Microsoft, where he leads marketing for the portfolio of collaborative applications including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, and Viva Engage. His work focuses on business and product strategy across AI innovation and enterprise collaboration. His team drives go-to-market execution for major product launches, industry events, and customer engagement initiatives. Earlier in his career, Pete was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving clients in the technology, financial services, and manufacturing industries, and he began his professional journey as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy. He lives in Seattle with his wife and three sons.
