The highly anticipated feature – Forms data sync to Excel is now available in Microsoft Forms. With just one click, you can now easily access all your form responses in Excel for the web and take adv...
Thanks utkgreg , good observation. You're right, a form created through a Group says "Opening in OneDrive" when I click "Open in Excel" on the form's Responses page, while a form created outside of a group (which I do regularly) saves its response file to my Downloads folder. Which seems weird - doesn't it? If I create a personal (non-group) form, why would its response file be so opposed to saving to my OneDrive, since, well, I created the form. it does kind of make sense that a group form saves to OneDrive since the response file can then be shared with the other group members, but while it says that it's saving to my OneDrive, the default save location is into a "Shared Documents" folder within a folder named after the Group name. And I can't find a folder in my OneDrive with that group name. Looks like it IS, however, available through my SharePoint, which quite frankly, I don't use. Sigh, the mysterious workings of Microsoft.

I heard about this feature from "How to Excel". Problem was the information didn't elaborate much, so again, good catch!!!
