In the upcoming quarter, with simplified creation, distribution, and collection, Microsoft Forms makes it easy to engage your students and track their progress. Even if you’re new to Forms, it’s easy to get started building enhanced lessons, assignments, and quizzes. Create customized collections, or group forms and quizzes together in a way that works for you.
Forms Collection
If you have used Forms for a while, getting your forms and quizzes organized for different classes is critical. The Forms collection function can help you manage all your surveys and quizzes by subject, date, or any other criteria you choose.
- You'll see a New Collection option at the top right of the page. Click the button to create and name your first collection.
2. From there, it’s easy to drag and drop any form or quiz into your newly created Collection. Or click More (three dots) on the form itself to move it into a different Collection.
3. Create unlimited Collections to store quizzes and forms; then access them anytime online. Edit your forms, copy them, or share an entire Collection (coming soon). Delete old forms when you no longer need them.
4. Switch to list view if you’d like to have a vertical view of all your Collections.

Form Creation
If you’re new to Forms and you're unsure how to write good questions, the template gallery is organized by categories.
Note: If you already have questions created for your form or quiz, you can skip directly to the creation flow from the Forms entrance.

Form Distribution
If you want to share a form directly to your class, you can easily use the invitation channel. An invitation email message with dedicated template will be sent via Outlook.
- You’ll see a personalized message pre-filled with users’ information. Edit the message to your liking or leave it as-is. Then click send.
2. Your audience will receive the invitation email in a dedicated template, where they can access the form directly.
Note: If you want to share a form outside of your school (or in posters), you can use the link or QR code instead.
Track Responses
After you send out invites to your form, you’ll receive notification emails according to your deadline and response-status progress to help track response rates.
You can check responses via your mobile devices and send reminders with one click—directly from the update email.
